Bordeaux Walking Tours are now running!
Bordeaux Running Tours offers private custom tours, with circuits from 6 to 8 km depending on the group’s rhythm. The tour is given by Hela, an accredited guide and owner of Bordeaux Walking Tours. It covers the city’s most important historical periods from Gallo-Roman times up to today. The running tour is a perfect way to get a quick, healthy feel for the city's history and architecture. And what better place to end the tour than in prison... a 16th century women’s prison, today the site of a microbrewery, in which we will enjoy a refreshing tasting of craft beers!

The running tour was an excellent way of seeing significantly more of Bordeaux than would be the case on a walking tour. Hela had deep knowledge of Bordeaux’s colourful history and managed to impart this knowledge while running, seemingly without effort. Time spent at the pub after the run was also good fun and a nice way of learning some more about Hela and the other participants. Highly recommended.
