Gourmet Tour

French gastronomy is renowned worldwide, with Bordeaux at the top of the country’s culinary addresses: prepare to be amazed by our cheeses, desserts and wines!

This gourmet tour is a historical and gastronomic tour punctuated by tastings, allowing you to discover the flavors of Bordeaux. There are several options for this tour, each of which gives you the chance to visit the city’s landmarks and one of Bordeaux’s finest cheese shops. With a glass of wine in hand, experts will teach you all about the conservation and aging process of the cheeses at the intimate atmosphere of this affineuse’s boutique. A Bordelaise company, renowned for its cannelés, will then welcome you to taste the city’s iconic dessert. Originally crafted by nuns, you will be surprised to hear how its creation is linked to wine. We will taste the "grand crus" of one of the oldest chocolate shops in Bordeaux, that's right! Chocolates also have grand crus! This family business has been an institution for the bordelais since 1915.

Gourmet Walking Tour of Bordeaux was Fantastic
Four of us went on a Gourmet Walking Tour of Bourdeaux. Duration was approx. 4 Hours. We all had a great time. We visited cheese outlet , a bakery and a chocolatier. Our guide Julie was really good, very informative and very pleasant. After we finished walking we all went back to the tour companies office and enjoyed a lovely lunch with the produce that we had picked up on the walk. Highly recommended

I was visiting from out of state with my family, most of whom had never been to NYC before, and we thought a tour would be a good idea - we're sure glad that we did! The experienced guide made sure that the whole day went smoothly, and luckily for us the weather was great. Highly recommended!
