Bordeaux is a city undergoing great changes, with new neighborhoods blooming from industrial wastelands. The Bacalan-Bassins-à-Flots is the most developed of these, with over 90 architects contributing to its creation.
Discover iconic monuments such as the Cité du Vin, the Chaban-Delmas bridge, the Submarine Base, or the Musée Mer Marine, which form part of a safeguarded and highlighted industrial landscape. The Bassins-à-Flots’ old port is made up of locks, dry docks and old silos, soon to be revitalized. This tour is a 3 or 4 hour-long walk through footpaths along the 22ha of wet docks.

We had a long walk around the city with Hela (English native speaker) who knows really everything about Bordeaux, French history & wines. A very entertaining storyteller - we are really happy to discover Bordeaux this way. We now know far more about the city than the friends who have always been living here. And the info, the booking & paying thru website & SMS were so easy. 10 points !!!
