Testimonials

An Amazing Insider Tour of Antiques and Flea Markets
Sure, like most typical Americans with very limited foreign language acumen, we could have bungled our way through the Antiques and flea markets. After all, we've done it many times in Paris, Madrid, and Amsterdam. But we decided to try something a bit different by booking the "Antiques and Treasures" walking tour and are we glad we did. Tara was just an absolute gem on our tour. She was so well-prepared for us with shopping bags and packing materials to carry and protect or finds and had an excellent and full tour mapped out for us. Tara was so in tune with our style and mannerisms that she knew when to step up and expertly negotiate when we were not getting as good deal as possible as well as when to lay back and let us have the fun and experience of working things out on our own. We had great casual discussions about our backgrounds which she astutely applied to guiding us to the best sellers that represented those interests, places we would not have know about on our own. In the long run we know the cost of the tour was more than covered by the deals and special purchases we would have otherwise not been able to make. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our time with Tara and appreciating her knowledge, experience and skills. She made us feel so at ease as if we were family members. Suffice it to say we feel like we made a good friend in Bordeaux and will look forward to spending time with her again on our next visit.

The company was recommended to us by a friend, and now I can see why! It was certainly one of the highlights of our vacation. The guides were all very friendly, experienced, and professional which made it a real treat.

No better way to discover Bordeaux
We had a long walk around the city with Hela (English native speaker) who knows really everything about Bordeaux, French history & wines. A very entertaining storyteller - we are really happy to discover Bordeaux this way. We now know far more about the city than the friends who have always been living here. And the info, the booking & paying thru website & SMS were so easy. 10 points !!!
