This tour takes place in the medieval heart of the city of Bordeaux, the world's largest urban UNESCO World Heritage site. We will stroll around at a family pace, as you listen to stories about the ambitious duchess, powerful kings and brave knights who made Bordeaux such a rich and envied city.
Parents will enjoy learning why and how the reputation of Bordeaux wines started during this period, while the kids are busy spotting the gargoyles and other fantastic characters protecting the Bordelais people from an evil fate!

In addition to an adapted vocabulary and a series of games that will engage the kids during this 2.5 hr tour, they will be armed with an activity book with quizzes, drawings, and games. This will help them make the connections between the stories and the monuments that they will be visiting.

We (2 persons) had booked a walking tour with a guide (in English). Everything is well organised, we received a mail with photo and tel-nr, in case we had difficulties finding Claire.
We had a very nice morning-walk, where Claire showed how much she really knows her city (and in perfect English). We asked many questions along the walk but Claire did not loose her well-prepared information and also managed to answer all our questions. very nive little gimmick that some (excellent, special) canelés were offered! We were through history, social and economic development and many other aspects.. We also got some good tips and tricks about Bordeaux!

We had a long walk around the city with Hela (English native speaker) who knows really everything about Bordeaux, French history & wines. A very entertaining storyteller - we are really happy to discover Bordeaux this way. We now know far more about the city than the friends who have always been living here. And the info, the booking & paying thru website & SMS were so easy. 10 points !!!
